  BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Opelika, Alabama, as follows:

  Section 1. That Section 5.7-11 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Opelika is hereby amended to read as follows:

  The following schedule of charges shall apply to all cemetery lots located in

Evergreen Cemetery
Charges for residents of Opelika: 
Lots: $500.00 per grave space.   

Charges for nonresidents of Opelika: 
Lots: $1,000.00 per grave space. 

Opening and closing costs (residents and nonresidents): 
Monday through Friday (before 4:00 p.m.)..........................$ 450.00 
Monday through Friday (after 4:00 p.m.) ............................ $ 550.00
Weekends ................................................................................$ 550.00
Holidays ................................................................................... $ 600.00

  Section 2. That Section 5.7-12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Opelika is hereby amended to read as follows:

  The following schedule of charges shall apply to all cemetery lots located in

Garden Hills Cemetery: 
Charges for residents of Opelika:
Lots: $500.00 per grave space (except for sections 18, 18-A, 19, 2 and 6). 
Lots: $750.00 per grave space in sections 18, 189-A, 19, 2 and 6.

Charges for nonresidents of Opelika: 
Lots: $1,000.00 per grave space (except for sections 18, 18-A, 19, 2 and 6). 
Lots: $1,500.00 per grave space in sections 18, 18-A, 19, 2 and 6.

Opening and closing costs (residents and nonresidents): 
Monday through Friday (before 4:00 p.m.) ..........................$ 450.00 
Monday through Friday (after 4:00 p.m.) ..............................$ 550.00
Weekends .................................................................................$ 550.00
Holidays .................................................................................... $ 600.00

  Section 3. That Section 5.7-13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Opelika is hereby amended to read as follows:

  The following schedule of charges shall apply to all cemetery lots located in

Rosemere Cemetery:
Charges for residents of Opelika:  No lots available. 
Charges for nonresidents of Opelika: No lots available. 

Opening and closing costs (residents and nonresidents):
Monday through Friday (before 4:00 p.m.) ...................... $ 450.00
Monday through Friday (after 4:00 p.m.) .........................  $ 550.00
Weekends ..............................................................................$ 550.0
Holidays ................................................................................. $ 600.00 

  Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption and publication as required by law.

  Section 5. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish this ordinance in the Opelika-Auburn News, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Opelika, Lee County, Alabama.
