Progress continues at the Opelika Sportsplex and Aquatics Center.  
Site Report – 9/5/08 – Sportsplex Project Status:

The landscape contractor has begun installing trees in the parking lot islands and around the perimeter of the building.
The masons are laying concrete block on the west wall of the gymnasium and pumping cement grout into the cells
of the laid yesterday.

The soccer field contractor continues to haul and spread the granular fill soil over the clay sub grade on the western side of soccer filed #4.
The HVAC contractor continues to hang spiral metal duck and rectangular duct from the bar joists in the offices east of the main lobby.
The plumbers are installing values and other devices in the copper water lines installed in the Adult Activities Center meeting rooms and offices east of the main lobby.

Electricians are installing conduit and pulling wire in the corridor connecting the Adult Activities Center with the lobby and in the offices east of the lobby.Photos taken on September 5, 2008.
