The Opelika Parks & Recreation's Swinging Seniors enjoyed a field trip to the City of Opelika PW / ESG Wastewater -Westside Treatment  Facility on Tuesday July 29, 2008. They toured the facility and learned how city wastewater is processed from the time it leaves a residence until it is put in Halawalca Creek. This informative experience was led by Derrick Askew and his staff.
